Whichever occurs first. This window is strictly for verifying that mechanical condition and specifications match the listing description.

  • Coverage: Only major, undisclosed mechanical defects or significant discrepancies in the listing description are eligible for return or price adjustment.
  • Voidance: The inspection period is immediately voided if the vehicle is tampered with, dismantled, modified, or driven beyond the 50-mile limit.
  • Reporting: Any issues must be discovered and reported within this window to be eligible for consideration.

General Auction Terms: "As-Is, Where-Is"

  • As-Is Sales: Subject to the 48-hour inspection period, all items — including construction machinery, tractors, and classic cars — are sold on an "As-Is, Where-Is" basis.
  • No Express Warranties: Beyond the initial inspection window, Auction Direct Preowned INC. and its vendors make no post-sale warranties regarding future performance or road-readiness of used machinery or vintage vehicles.
  • Duty to Inspect: Buyers are strongly encouraged to review all provided high-resolution photos, videos, and third-party inspection reports prior to bidding.
3

Bidding and Finality of Sale

  • Binding Contract: Every bid placed on our platform is a legally binding contract. Once the hammer falls or a Buy Now purchase is confirmed, the sale is final.
  • No Retractions: Bids cannot be retracted due to buyer's remorse or a change in financial circumstances.
  • Restocking Fee: In the rare event that a cancellation is approved by management outside of a mechanical defect claim, a 15% Restocking & Administrative Fee will be applied to the total hammer price.
4

International Shipping and Damage

  • Carrier Liability: Once a vehicle is handed over to the shipping line and a Bill of Lading is issued, liability for transit damage rests with the carrier.
  • Insurance Recommendation: We strongly recommend all international buyers opt for Marine Cargo Insurance to protect their investment during sea transit.
🚢

International Buyers

Marine Cargo Insurance is strongly recommended for all sea shipments. Once the Bill of Lading is issued, ADP's responsibility for transit damage ends. Contact us before shipping to discuss insurance options.

Title and Documentation

  • Guarantee of Ownership: We guarantee that all vehicles and machinery are sold with a clear right of transfer.
  • Documentation Timeline: International export documentation (Titles, Certificates of Origin, and Customs forms) may take up to 21 business days to process.
  • Not Grounds for Return: A delay in paperwork processing is not grounds for a vehicle return or cancellation.
